Guinea Pig Beds
With my gorgeous girly Hebe fast approaching the birth of her first litter of minipigs I thought it would be nice for her to have a comfortable bed for her to lay in as she got bigger and bigger and no longer fitted too easily into her snuggle sac. I made her a choc lime Snuggle bed, Hebe liked it and spend the last few days of her pregnancy snuggled inside it, she even gave birth in it!
Now her brood of minipigs love to popcorn inside of it; just like children trampolining on their parents’ bed!

The Snuggle Bed can be made from any of the fabrics shown in the fabric gallery, it has no open seams and has polyester wadding inside for extra snuggly comfort.

The Snuggle-OO™
The Snuggle-OO™ is an igloo shaped house, bigger than a snuggle sac; designed to allow two pigs to snuggle down together.
The opening to the house is just a little bit bigger than a snuggle sac; but opens out into a bigger chamber, just like an igloo.
It’s great for two friendly piggies to snuggle down together or for a new mum to gather all her babies together for feeding in private.
It is also suitable for ferrets, chinchillas and rats.
This can be made with a cotton exterior and fleece interior, or if you wish, the exterior can also be fleece.
Snuggle Tunnels & Ramp Tunnels
The Snuggle Tunnel can be made to any length you require, the one pictured below is 26 inches, and twice as long as a Snuggle Sac. It has a cotton outer with a fleece inner layer, and like all the other items I make it has no open seams and is fully reversable.
As the name suggests, it is open at both ends, so piggies can play running through or take a break and sleep in there too. In keeping with all of the Cosy Cavy Cagewear, it is fully reversable, and has no open seams.
This could also be made with a middle supporting arch if required. Other options could be to add suspending ties, which would make it ideal for ferrets who like to be off the ground, and rats would probably be quite taken by it too! I can also make tunnels for ramps to entice piggies to use their ramp in a two storey hutch, giving them more space and freedom! Ramp tunnels are made specifically to the measurements of your ramp, and the number of supports and velcro attachments needed varies according to the length.

Corner Hammocks
Corner Hammocks are made from two layers of fleece and have three plastic clips to attach the hammock to the cage. I chose to use plastic rather than metal, which can be found on other hammocks as it is much kinder to washing machines. These hammocks, like my other items, are made inside out so there are no open seams. You can request two different fleeces if you would like a reversable hammock.
